Description of Service

Ombuds Services is an informal, neutral, and independent service that provides skilled support for building communication and collaboration, and/or navigating systems and resources. Ombuds provide confidential individual visits for those seeking a sounding board or consultation, as well as group facilitation, mediation, and workshops for staff, faculty, and students.

What to expect when requesting assistance

Expect a response to schedule your visit within one business day. For facilitated conversations, parties begin with individual visits. Group facilitations and workshops begin with a conversation to learn more about your group’s needs. Ombuds Services is a free resource for the UNM community.
